Distribution & Warehousing
Palletizer Control System Retrofit
We retrofitted an aging palletizer's control system with a new PLC, safety, and HMI platform, re-engineering the logic and wiring around the existing mechanical frame. The upgrade was scheduled and staged to fit within a planned outage window, restoring reliable operation and giving the plant a supportable, well-documented platform going forward.
Process Manufacturing
DCS PlantPax System Design, Development & Deployment
We designed, developed, and deployed a Rockwell PlantPax-based distributed control system, standardizing process control across the plant with PlantPax library instructions, redundant controllers, and a plant-wide historian and alarm strategy. The project covered control narrative development, ControlLogix and HMI/SCADA programming, and phased deployment to bring the process online with minimal disruption. The full DCS environment — engineering workstations, HMI/SCADA servers, and historian — was virtualized on a redundant hypervisor cluster for simplified patching, backup, and disaster recovery.
Industrial Networking
OT - Virtualization and Network Infrastructure
We designed and deployed a dual-media resilient Ethernet ring for the plant's OT network, running multimode OM4 fiber between switches and configuring the Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP) for sub-second failover. The ring topology gives the control network a single point of failure tolerance without the convergence delays of spanning tree, keeping PLCs, HMIs, and I/O connected through a link or switch fault. VLAN segmentation was designed and configured across the ring to separate control, safety, and supervisory traffic, with trunked uplinks and access-port assignments documented per switch.
Water & Wastewater
WWTP - Control System
We took a wastewater treatment plant's control system from design through construction, engineering the instrumentation, control system, and MCC, then building and installing the panels, HMI, and network infrastructure to tie the process together. Our team carried the project through design development and construction, coordinating instrumentation loops, motor control, and plant network connectivity into a single commissioned system.
Energy & Utilities Metering
Global IoT Energy and Water Metering
We built a global IoT metering platform connecting over 300 energy and water meters across 10 sites worldwide. Kepware links sensors and PLCs over Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and Siemens SIMATIC NET, feeding a Microsoft Azure infrastructure built on IoT Hub, Data Lake, and Data Explorer. Grafana serves as the front end, giving stakeholders live dashboards and historical trending across every site from a single pane of glass.
